Portrait

I'm not a huge fan of shooting indoors, but there are plenty of cool styles you can execute with a simple backdrop. I like to add some edge to my indoor portraits. Nothing crazy, just a little "Alien Skin Exposure 2", and high pass filters (for all my photographers)..

What started as a photo shoot to highlight "ME" studios, some how turned out to be a lifestyle shoot for super producer Marlon Beats. Marlon is a VERY talented producer in the DC area.. Look out for him in the very near future.

Studio Necessities

Did I tell you I love music?

The MOVEMENT!

One of my favorite subjects to shoot is an artist by the name of "Fatso Skinny". Fatso & Tamika Jones are next up and will be a force to recon with! They came through around 12:00am on a work night, but I was good to go once the shoot got started.

804 to 703

Introducing the Almanac crew from Richmond. These guys were a TRIP! The only downside to the shoot was we didn't make it outside fast enough to take advantage of the natural light... but we were able to land some cool pics in the studio. Take a look..

Starbucks Who?

Eight years ago a good friend of mine told me he was dropping out of college to open up his own franchise. We all thought he was crazy! Eight years later he owns 7 of his own Dunkin Donut shops around the D.C. area. Jerome Johnson is a true inspiration and example to all. The photo shoot only lasted 30min but we had a crazy time… see for yourself…

Adams Morgan Compilation

Introducing Fatso Skinny, Tamika Jones and Wes Felton. Perfect day for a shoot - bad calculations when picking the location. We failed to realize in advance that Adams Morgan was having their festival, which brought huge crowds. Despite this set back we made the best of the shoot and had a great time.

The 4 mile shoot...

I'm glad I was wearing my New Balance shoes today! Local rap artist FRAZE, and record label executive Greg Challoway, approached me about doing a photo shoot to promote FRAZE as an artist, and also to promote the label/clothing line "ME".

You will be able to tell by the pics that we were in "exclusive territory". At first I was a little skeptical about shooting off the highway (lol), but the pics turned out to be much better then I thought they would upon arriving to the location.

Thanks for visiting my blog.. I hope you enjoy!
