What do you get when you have two producers, one videographer, and one rap artist? One interesting shoot. I'm not even sure how this shoot came to be.. I just remember telling my boy I would show him how to work the Nikon D700... one hour later we have a full fledged photo shoot going lol. I feel we were able to capture some pretty creative pics.. take a look.

Tis The Season..

The overall mission of this photo shoot was to capture a photo for my cousins holiday postcard. Shot-out to my cousin for selecting this awesome location over my idea of shooting in her sisters backyard (lol). I'm posting these pics against my cousins wishes... I just couldn't wait (lol)! Blog About Nothing

I have to say, photography has been a fun ride since starting in May of this year. If you have been following my work then you have seen the many phases I have been through. These phases are good because they have allowed my own skills to emerge and steer me in a certain direction. Currently, I'm going through a natural light phase, which I'm considering focusing all my attention towards.

My short term goal with photography is to continue being a "weekend shooter". Yeah, it would be nice to immerse myself in the world of photography, but photography is not keeping my refrigerator on (lol).

DC Chillin..

Long day, but very fun times. Corinne is a clothing designer from Connecticut who was in the area for the weekend. This fellow Trojan (VSU!) is very talented at what she does and has a bright future ahead of her in the fashion industry. Take a look at a sample of her pieces and see for yourself!

Short Sleeves in November

75 degrees a week before Thanksgiving??? How could I not call up a shoot.. lol.

Jeneene is a very focused entrepreneur out of the DC area. We decided it would be a good look to take some quality pictures as a way to promote her brand. I feel we made out with a variety of cool pics during the hour of shooting. Good times.

Today I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot for the Nu Xi Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority - serving Alexandria, Virgina. We had a great time during the 20 min of shooting.

Sulamiman is an up and coming recording artist in the DMV. We wanted to go for the fall look with this shoot and I feel we accomplished it. Fun shoot.

Rain or Shine

I could not wait to post these pics! I actually did this shoot an hour ago. I have to give thanks to Toya for hanging in there and allowing me to get creative. The shoot was for her, but ended up being more of a job for her then it was for me (lol). Anyway - take a look.

These pics were taken for up and coming actress Katrina Snow. We decided to shoot on the roof of her condo. Great location... I will be revisiting this site for another shoot lol.

I'm not a huge fan of shooting indoors, but there are plenty of cool styles you can execute with a simple backdrop. I like to add some edge to my indoor portraits. Nothing crazy, just a little "Alien Skin Exposure 2", and high pass filters (for all my photographers)..
